Darkness to Light
1 In The beginning there was darkness and light
There was night and day
2 Man was filled with light
He was not apart from the Lord
3 Darkness overwhelmed the light
Evil took part in man and made him darkness
4 Man was like a withered flower
He could not know the light
5 The light was a glory to his people
He made himself shine above them

6 The light desired intimacy with his people
But His people toiled with darkness disguised as light
7 Man was distorted and an adulterer
He was light covered in darkness
8 Those chosen to be light took the dark path
9 The light was in the beginning and was the word
the word was in the beginning and became flesh
10 The flesh was light manifest
The Christ was God as man and He saw the world.
11 There was a mighty dark horse
darkness was strong and battled light
12 The Horse of Light was mighty as well
In the small colt was all the light’s strength
13 The two met in that time and battled
darkness and light sought the hearts of men
14 the one manifest loved the world with healing
The Light, The Christ hated the darkness with love
15 the end of manifest was near and darkness tempted light
in the final hours the light could never know darkness
16 In the sixth hour darkness swept over the land
In that final time the people of light rejected their light
17 three days past and the darkness of sin was defeated forever
death was defeated with an open tomb by the Light of the world
18. The Horse of light stood alone in victory
The small colt defeated the dark horse
19. 40 days the light roamed the earth in triumph
For many hours the glory of light was better known
20 I have come into the world as light
so that nobody who believes in me should stay in darkness
21 The light ascended to the heavens
the glory of God sat at his right hand
22 Your light now guides me through darkness
Your light has separated it and consumed it

24 Your light shines through creation
Your glory shined in the beginning

Your word is a light to righteousness
26 Your light knows where I am
and knows where I want to go
27 Though I battle my natural sin and demons
and sometimes the darkness has turned the light backwards
28 Your light is still consuming me
Your hand is turning my face toward Heaven
29 Your light is shining through me oh Lord
You glory is growing in me greater oh YHWH
30 I cannot wait to touch your face
I cannot wait to be without darkness
31. Darkness will finally be consumed
and your Glorious Light will reign in the end
